Christine
Rode Andreasen MD, has completed first year of specialization in endocrinology
and is currently working in clinical research as a PhD student at Steno
Diabetes Center Copenhagen, University of Copenhagen. She graduated from the University of
Copenhagen’s medical school in 2015 and subsequently gained clinical experience
in internal medicine, psychiatry, general practice and diabetology. During her
current clinical research, Christine Rode Andreasen MD investigates how glucose
fluctuations affect cardiac function and cardiac arrhythmias in patients with
diabetes. Her primary goal is to prevent sudden cardiac death in patients with
diabetes.
