Bruce Dorr is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He attended medical school there at Wayne State University and then did his Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Bruce Dorr is boarded in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty boarded in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. For the last 10 years, he has directed his practice towards a functional medicine practice of hormone health and wellness. He serves as Senior Medical Advisor and is on faculty for medical education for Biote, a national leader in pelleted hormone optimization and nutraceuticals.

Given his extensive experience with pelleted hormone replacement, he has begun research with his large patient database and his first published article entitled “Subcutaneous testosterone pellet therapy for reversal of male osteoporosis: a review and case report” The Aging Male, 26:1, 2023.
