Dr. Wolfgang Landgraf  studied Chemistry and Pharmacy. He holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Heidelberg. He began his academic career as a researcher in Biochemistry specialized on protein chemistry, characterization of protein kinases and physiology of smooth muscle relaxation by cGMP. In 1992, Wolfgang joint the pharmaceutical industry (Hoechst AG, Frankfurt) as a Medical Expert in Cardiovascular and Diabetes Research and served in various positions and responsibilities. Between 2006 and 2010 he was Medical Director Diabetes and Deputy Director Medical Affairs Research Unit at Sanofi-Aventis­, Germany. In 2010 he moved to a global Medical Director position at Sanofi headquarters in Paris.
