Cathy Grimes has a first class honor's degree
from Letterkenny University Ireland. She then completed her Masters in
Professional Practice in Nursing in 2018 from Buckinghamshire New University,
England. Cathy is currently working as a Clinical Nurse Manager three in
Mullingar hospital Emergency Department.
She has published her recent research On “The
effects of family witnessed Resuscitation on Health Care Professionals” in the
British Journal of Nursing 2020.
Cathy has worked as a Senior Sister the
Emergency Department and in recent years worked as a practice development
nurse. She has spoken as a key speaker at the London trauma nursing conference
on her development of trauma training in the Emergency Department.
