Dr. Reimara has over 10 years of teaching and research experience in the field of HRM, Wellbeing, Global Mobility, and International Business. Dr. Valk has worked for various educational institutes in the Netherlands, India,  China, Iraq and Malaysia either as a Faculty member or Visiting Professor. Formerly, Dr. Valk worked in worked in the public and private sector in multicultural, global work environments.

Dr. Reimara’s research interests are in global mobility and career sustainability, employee engagement and wellbeing, happiness, and food, health & disease.

She has published her research in journals, such as the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management, Employee Relations, the Journal of Global Mobility and the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. Additional publications include book chapters, conference papers, and practitioner magazine articles. In 2019 she published her book entitled: 

‘Culinary Concoctions: The nutrition guide for food fussy folks’

Dr. Reimara has won several awards for journal articles and conference papers and has obtained various research funds.

Dr. Reimara is a certified Global Mobility professional. 

Currently, Dr. Reimara is pursuing a Global Online MSc. Degree in Food Science & Innovation at Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.
