He carries out his work as Head of the Neuropsychology Service and Medical-Scientific Director of the Alzheimer Experimental Center at the San Pietro Hospital and San Giovanni di Dio Institute (Fatebenefratelli-Rome). He teaches Neuropsychology at the Faculty of Psychology, Master's Degree Course, of the European University of Rome.
He is a lecturer at the School of Specialization in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy of the Skinner Institute in Rome and at numerous University Masters relating to Neuropsychology and Psychogeriatrics for the European University of Rome and the “Sapienza” University of Rome.
Expert in Neuropsychology and Psychodiagnosis, he mainly deals with cognitive and behavioral neuropsychological assessments and conventional and unconventional non-pharmacological stimulation techniques for patients suffering from various types of dementia-related pathologies and other medical conditions, including Neurocovid.
He is the author of numerous articles, books and publications on these topics with national and international circulation.
He has also been and is a frequent speaker at conferences, training events and workshops relating to these topics.
He is among the leading experts at national and international level in a new approach of unconventional non-pharmacological stimulation for patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia called "Museotherapy".
