Mariana Tavares is a 3rd year Pulmonology Medicine Resident at the Pulmonology Department of “Hospital Sousa Martins - Unidade Local de Saúde da Guarda” in Portugal. She completed her medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra in 2020. During her residency she developed an interest in the field of interstitial lung disease (ILD), particularly in ILD associated with systemic autoimmune disease.
