Dr. Sardiu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics & Data Science. Dr. Sardiu is a theoretical physicist with extensive experience in molecular modeling, bioinformatics and translational research. I started my graduate study in theoretical physics at Florida Atlantic University and then I continued her graduate study at the National Center for Biotechnology Information at the NIH under the supervision of Dr. Yi-Kuo. I continued my work with dr. Michael Washburn at the Stowers Institute as a postdoctoral and senior scientist, where I continued to apply my physics and statistics skills in the field of dynamic networking with focus on protein interaction networks.
