Dr. Stylianos Kapetanakis is an Orthopaedic Surgeon-Spine Surgeon and the current Director of Spine Department and Deformities, Interbalkan European Medical Center, Thessaloniki, Greece. He also owns the academic title of Assistant Professor. Dr. Kapetanakis has a considerable experience in minimally invasive and particularly endoscopic spine surgery, having performed more than 500 such operations in the last 5 years, publishing furthermore relative original research studies in reputable peer-reviewed journals in the field of Orthopaedics, Spine Surgery and Neurosurgery. Except for minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, his research interests also include degenerative spine diseases, spine trauma and spine oncology.
