Vladislav Nikolaevich Koryagin, born in 1947 in
Leningrad, USSR. Graduated from the Leningrad Pediatric Medical Institute in
1976, then completed his residency in infectious diseases in 1978. In 1984
received the title of Candidate of Medical Sciences. Associate Professor of the
Department of Infectious Diseases of the Medical Faculty of St. Petersburg
State University from 1997 to 2012.
He is one of the leading specialists of the Russian
Federation in antiviral therapy of chronic viral hepatitis B, C and D, as well
as the treatment of herpetic and other viral infections, including infectious
mononucleosis and HIV infection. In 2008, for his labor achievements and many
years of fruitful work, by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation
No. 289, he was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of
the II degree. Author of more than 50 scientific papers on the topic of viral
hepatitis and herpetic infections.
Since 2012, he has been an infectious disease specialist
at the Department of Innovative Hepatology for the treatment of viral hepatitis
and HIV-infection of the EXCLUSIVE medical clinic, St. Petersburg. Also is a
scientific consultant and the head of the city center for the treatment of
herpes infections.
