Dr. poupak Mortazkar is a specialist in clinical virology. She holds a MSc (2007) and a PhD (2020) in clinical virology from Iran university of medical science. In 2011-2018 she was an assistant professor at the department of the medical laboratory science of Gulan university of medical science. From 2016-2020 she was a research scientist at the department of virology of Iran university of medical science. In 2020 she moved to sohar hospital in sohar, oman for virology research and since 2021, she is as the head of the virology department at kazimi international laboratory. Her scientific interests are pathogenesis of the respiratory viruses. The primary focus of her study is related to influenza virus and its immune response
