Cristina graduated in Industrial Biotechnology at Padua University, specializing in Immunology
and recombinant proteins. In 2011, she gained a PhD in Environmental Medicine with a project
aimed to study human cell response to ionizing radiation.
Since 2011, she carried on research
activity at the department of Biomedical Science of Padua University, focusing on disclosing
mechanisms of signal transduction, action, and regulation of different proteins, which are possible
targets in cancer therapy.
At Symrise, taking advantage of her expertise in cellular biology and different analysis techniques,
she is involved in RD projects to develop new screening platforms and products.
